The Art Company began from humble beginnings as a small Art & Framing Gallery operating from the Kelvin Village Shopping Center in Kelvin, Johannesburg many moons ago.
After being closed for the longest time, the gallery has been revived as an online proof-of-concept business now called – The South African Art Company.
We offer a small custom framing service and supply ready-made frames to order.
A unique online selling model is available here for artists and collectors to sell their original artworks to potential customers without the need of a walk-in gallery or exhibition.
There is no need for all the hoity toity of the arts scene here. We like to keep things as simple and as transparent as possible.
This website is a personal passion project of Daniel Erasmus with many years of self-taught experience within the arts; “I will strive to accommodate your requests and respond to your questions as soon as possible.”
Most admin and online updates will be taken care of in the evenings and on weekends.
We are online and don’t pay huge fees in shop rentals and advertising thereby giving you the buyer the best value possible as you add artworks to your art collection.
